Home-Based Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented finance professional with excellent organizational skills to support our client in managing billing and collections.

This role involves ensuring timely payments, accurate records, and clear communication with vendors and customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be able to work independently, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter information received from clients and process credit applications.
  • Request and process prepayments on sales orders.
  • Follow up on delinquent accounts for customers with outstanding balances or new orders.
  • Apply check or credit card prepayments to the appropriate accounts.
  • Verify and resolve account discrepancies by obtaining and reviewing information from customer care and customers.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer communications and collections activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in an office or accounting role with a focus on accounts payable and/or accounts receivable.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Able to work overnight/graveyard shifts in PH time or U.S. business hours.
