Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing bank reconciliations, supporting intercompany sweeps, and month-end journals. They will also assist in the preparation of journal entries, regular monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, and internal/external audit engagements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of bank reconciliations and support to intercompany sweeps
  • Month-end journals as support to AU Finance
  • Preparation of journal entries such as allocations, intercompany interest, accruals, and ad-hoc journals
  • Assist in regular monthly balance sheet account reconciliations with supporting analysis and schedules
  • Support in internal and external audit engagements
  • Involved in process improvements and support to the team on other tasks
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and guidelines and assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
  • Assistance in half-year and fiscal year-end audited financial statement preparation including board papers

Requirements include:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role or general accounting/finance, banking, taxation experience is an advantage
  • Has auditing background/experience
  • Relevant Accounting qualification required and/or part way through studying CPA or CA qualification is an advantage
  • Good oral/written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • With departmental experience in various ERP Accounting Systems especially with Workday Finance
