
Document Specialist

This role involves editing documents according to client specifications, templates, style guides, and other guidance documents. It requires considering business goals, project deliverables, timelines, and regulatory health standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Control Review: Demonstrates strong proficiency in verifying document accuracy against source material, internal consistency, and grammar based on an understanding of grammar rules.
- Formatting Techniques: Expertly performs formatting techniques consistent with industry guidelines, including template utilization, style application, table insertion, figure creation, and overall document appearance and function.
- Publishing Documents: Publishes documents to regulatory health standards, learns requirements for submission-ready documents, and expands knowledge in document management or publishing related activities.
- Leadership and Team Management: Provides effective leadership for all document quality-related tasks and services, manages timelines, communicates client feedback, and proposes ways to improve performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, scientific discipline, or related field is required.
- Editor certification in the Life Sciences is desired but not essential.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite proficiency are expected.
- At least 2 years of prior related experience are necessary.
