SMSF Accountant Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SMSF Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of Australian Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs) and have excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years' experience working with SMSFs in Australia, with a strong working knowledge of Class Super and high level proficiency in Microsoft Excel. They will be able to prepare workpapers, reconciliations, and reports for SMSF clients, perform bank reconciliations, investment reconciliations, and member statements, and ensure compliance with ATO and Superannuation Industry requirements.

The successful applicant will work closely with auditors, administrators, and financial planners as needed, maintain accurate and up-to-date records for SMSF clients, and communicate effectively with clients and team members. They will also identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in SMSF workflows.
