Job Opportunity:

A highly skilled Paraplanner is sought to support a financial planning team in preparing comprehensive Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs), conducting product comparisons, and performing strategy modelling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare thorough SOAs and ROAs aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct product comparisons and strategy modelling for superannuation, insurance, and pension products.
  • Assist in setting up and structuring Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF) for property investment.
  • Utilize financial planning software for research and documentation.
  • Collaborate with senior planners to implement tailored financial strategies for clients.
  • Ensure all financial plans comply with regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate client records and communicate effectively with advisers to refine strategies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a paraplanning role.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with financial planning tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to model financial strategies effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

This is a remote, independent contractor engagement. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain their professional profile, collaborate during core business hours, and disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work.
