Branch Manager Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the daily operations of a branch, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Key Accountabilities:
  • Act as chief custodian of cash, foreign currencies, accountable forms and late checks.
  • Ensure adherence to prescribed policies and procedures, internal control, regulatory provisions and proper maintenance and control of cash vault and vault facilities.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Successful management of cash operations.
  • Effective implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Excellent customer service delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in any field.
  • At least 3 years' experience as an Assistant Cashier in a commercial bank or at least 5 years' experience in Branch Banking Operations.
  • Amenable to movement within the designated area.

Note: Candidates must meet the minimum requirements to be considered for the position.

The selected candidate will be required to undergo further evaluation and assessment prior to employment.
