Accounts Payable Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our financial operations, this role plays a crucial part in maintaining the health and stability of our cash flows.

This is a full-time position that involves working on a US shift and can be performed from home.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and experience with accounts payable processes. They will be responsible for managing the outflow of financial resources, reviewing and verifying bills, enforcing payment terms, and maintaining accurate vendor records.

In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational abilities, a high degree of accuracy, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the AP process using BILL software.
  • Review and verify bills and check requests.
  • Enforce payment terms and maintain accurate vendor records.
  • Prepare and maintain accounts payable reports.
  • Resolve purchase orders, contracts, bills, or payment discrepancies.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with vendors and suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk.
  • Excellent knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Netsuite and BILL.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
