Our organization is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to manage the financial aspects of our operations.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in relevant accounting and finance roles, with a strong understanding of inventory management and ERP systems. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification is required, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the cost of goods sold, inventory demand planning, and provide ad-hoc pricing/margin analysis support to clients.
  • Assist in new client account onboarding and configure client accounting systems.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through regular check-ins and day-to-day communication.
  • Manage retail operational accounting tasks, including issuing invoices, reconciling discounts and chargebacks, collecting deposits, and matching accounts receivable.
  • Coordinate reconciliation schedules for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accrued liabilities/expenses, and deferred revenue.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, and address client/vendor inquiries on a daily basis.
  • Support month-end accounting functions, account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the Controller to prepare financial reports and analysis for client leadership, and coordinate work with external partners and investors.
  • Model best practices in accounting and financial processes in accordance with GAAP, working closely with team members to analyze and streamline internal and external processes.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
  • Bachelor's, Associates, or Accounting Certification required.
  • Proficient in ERP systems.
  • Inventory accounting experience necessary.
