Job Title:

A Network Engineer is required to design, implement and maintain enterprise-level network systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize network infrastructure to meet business needs.
  • Manage routing, switching, LAN/WAN and cyber security to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Perform regular system patching and vulnerability management to prevent security breaches.
  • Thoroughly document network dependencies to facilitate efficient troubleshooting.
  • Investigate issues and conduct root cause analysis to identify solutions.
  • Ensure corporate compliance with industry standards such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, ISO and DLP.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and system alerts in a timely manner.
  • Maintain routers, switches and physical network hardware to ensure optimal performance.
  • Install and configure network equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Provide ongoing system maintenance, log monitoring, backups and configuration management to ensure business continuity.
  • Continuously improve network security infrastructure through research and implementation of new technologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with network infrastructure.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing conditions and priorities.
  • Technical understanding of LANs, WANs, VPNs, TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS and cyber-security standards.
  • Experience with Linux systems and open-source solutions.
