We are excited to announce that we are inviting applications for a Specialist - Network Ops Engineer at our Pasig office in the Philippines on a hybrid working setup. The Specialist - Network Ops Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and support of global IT infrastructure platforms and support structures making sure that the infrastructure is secure, sustainable, and reliable. This role will also be accountable for management of installed systems and infrastructure including O/S, S/W, H/W, and management tools.

Inclusive of onsite, virtual, and hosted infrastructure. What you will be doing

The role involves managing change and lifecycle activities for network infrastructure by coordinating with service providers and software vendors to plan and implement updates. This includes assessing the impact of vendor releases, scheduling changes, and ensuring alignment with engineering approvals. Operational support is also a key focus, involving timely resolution of user incidents and requests, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining accurate documentation to enhance platform effectiveness.

As a Specialist - Network Ops Engineer, the role includes vendor management to ensure optimal network performance through SLA reviews and project support. Responsibilities extend to asset and security compliance, stakeholder engagement across IT and business units, and maintaining flexibility to address daily operational demands. Escalation of risks and issues to management ensures timely resolution and continuous service improvement.

What you will bring

Tertiary qualification in an IT-related discipline3 + years in an IT infrastructure role2 + years' experience in area of responsibility

Demonstrated success supporting and maintaining necessary components that make up network infrastructure. Experience providing support and maintenance across a global platform that includes a multi-sourced workforce as well as third party and managed services. Initiative to anticipate situations and problems and ability to advise on appropriate workarounds and solutions.

At least one network industry certification such as CCNA or JNCIAFamiliarity with networking technologies such as switching, routing, firewalls, Client based VPNs, VOIP as well as OSS tools related to network operations are preferred. What we offer
