We are seeking a results-driven Credit Controller to manage aged debt reports, clear receipts from payments, and ensure timely client payments. As a remote Credit Controller, you will be responsible for generating and reviewing aged debt reports to identify overdue payments, clearing receipts and matching them with corresponding payments, and negotiating payment commitments and following up to ensure timely payments.

This role requires strong communication skills, financial knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You will interact with clients via phone and email to resolve outstanding invoices and obtain payment commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Aged Debt Management: Generate and review aged debt reports to identify overdue payments and take necessary actions to recover outstanding amounts.
  2. Payment Processing: Clear receipts and match them with corresponding payments to ensure accurate accounting records.
  3. Credit Control: Negotiate payment commitments and follow up with clients to ensure timely payments.
  4. Client Communication: Interact with clients via phone and email to resolve outstanding invoices and obtain payment commitments.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable is essential for this role.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to handle phone and email conversations effectively, are required.
  • Financial Knowledge: Excellent financial knowledge and understanding of accounting principles are necessary to succeed in this role.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines is crucial in this position.
