Tactical Operations Procurement Specialist

This role involves leading a team of procurement professionals in ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement processes, including requisitioning, purchasing, and invoicing. They will also be expected to provide support to the procurement team on complex procurement issues and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen and be able to analyze data to inform procurement decisions.

Key attributes of this role include:

  • Experience in a procurement shared service center supporting multiple countries/business units
  • Experience working for a manufacturing company preferred
  • Good understanding of end-to-end S2P processes and associated technology platforms
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Responsibilities
  • Manage procurement processes, including requisitioning, purchasing, and invoicing
  • Provide support to the procurement team on complex procurement issues
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Analyze data to inform procurement decisions
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives
  • Monitor and report on procurement metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
