Rishworth is currently supporting a leading Low Cost Carrier in Asia with their latest project. The project aims to support homecoming talent across various departments.

The company is looking for an Aircraft Technical Support Specialist who will provide technical services support as listed in the responsibilities below.

This is a full-time position based at the headquarters with a lucrative joining bonus and mobility assistance for the incumbent and dependents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review all open ADD, CFI and CDL items to ensure they are complete and have an action and implementation plan in place. Time-limited defects will be planned accordingly.
  • Closure of deferred defect items before their due dates is ensured.
  • Verification of parts for MEL items is conducted, ensuring correct ordering. Close coordination with Technical Purchasing is required.
  • Coordination with Technical Services and Production Planning ensures the correct repair schematic is followed when repair call-outs exceed SRM and AMM.
  • Liaising with Line Maintenance Engineers or Defect Analyst Engineers guarantees that scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is carried out in a timely and cost-effective manner, with early advice given whenever delay is expected in rectifying cabin items.
  • Fleet-wide cabin issues are identified and presented to the Manager –Deferred Defects for further escalation.
  • Cabin modifications are tracked and verified by the maintenance provider.
  • Part consumption reports are prepared for deferred defect items, including MEL, and submitted to the Manager –Deferred Defects.
  • Technical responses are provided to queries from other departments.
  • Active participation in the group's Safety Management System (SMS) is ensured, achieving the highest reasonable level of safety performance by complying with applicable laws, regulations, and standards, and reporting accidents, incidents, and hazards.
  • Spot checks/surveillance on cabin items are performed, with a weekly cabin report prepared.
Requirements
  • A degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • At least four years of relevant experience is necessary.
  • ICAO/A&P AMEL certification is preferred.
