Senior FP&A Analyst Role

Job Overview:

The Senior FP&A Analyst will be responsible for executing research and financial analysis, developing analysis on budgets, forecasts, and sales margins. This role will involve conducting small-scale projects, ad hoc analysis, and reporting, generating forecasts, and analyzing trends for financial and strategic planning purposes.

Key responsibilities include creating financial models of what-if scenarios to help future business decisions, providing support for pricing and sales, and interpreting financial data in spreadsheets, charts, and reports. Additionally, the Senior FP&A Analyst will identify and resolve discrepancies in data, assist in development and delivery of various reporting packages, prepare financial deliverables, correspondence, and filings.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to assemble, communicate, and present information clearly, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, strong analytical/critical thinking skills.
  • Solve problems using a detailed and well-ordered approach, be attentive to detail, maintain standards, and actively check for data accuracy before conveying final work product.

Other Requirements:

  • Full-time remote position, bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance required.
  • At least two years of relevant experience preferred, CFA and/or CPA certification a plus but not necessary.
