Chief Financial Operations Manager

A seasoned Financial Controller is needed to lead day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate reconciliations, and maintain audit-ready records.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely preparation of comprehensive financial reports
- Oversee and mentor a team of approximately 7 finance professionals
- Ensure that financial reporting and accounting practices align with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA)
- Collaborate with Project Managers on project status reviews and billing support
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience at a Controller level in Professional services or a Project-Based firm
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and Project Accounting principles
- Background in auditing and reconciliation procedures
- Strong Excel skills and analytical capabilities
This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational and analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize work assignments based on team needs.
