
Business Development Manager

We are seeking a results-driven professional who has a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.
The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to our customers, ensuring their success with our software and services. Key responsibilities include:
- Becoming the primary point of contact post-sales, conducting thorough customer onboarding and education processes, and taking ownership of account health post-implementation
- Preparing accounts for billing by ensuring successful customer starts with our service, introducing them to our virtual assistants, and prompting task delegation
- Building goal plans for customers, focused on short- and long-term goals towards growth, and identifying ways we can support those objectives
- Proactively managing relationships between virtual assistants and assigned clients during and post-onboarding, including regular email check-ins, ad-hoc phone/conference calls/texts, and monitoring customer usage through our proprietary web tool
- Managing inbound customer communications, organizing/escalating, and resolving issues appropriately, including assistant quality, staff replacement, billing, sales, and technical inquiries
- Understanding our offerings and value proposition across different industries and communicating it clearly to customers to promote engagement, upgrades, upsells, and referrals
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- At least a year of experience in client relationship management AND/OR project management is a MUST
- Experience with process implementation is preferable but not required
- Comfortable with Mac, Windows, Chrome, iOS, Android, and video call communication tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc)
- Understanding of online software (SaaS) services and/or technology-based solutions
- Understanding of goal development and implementation
- Positive attitude with the desire to contribute to the company's success and ability to remain professional under pressure with customers
- Ability to use various styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
