Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Creditors Controller to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for accurately capturing supplier invoices and processing payments in line with financial management policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of creditors procedures and accounting systems, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. If you are a detail-oriented and results-driven individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality work, we encourage you to apply.

As a Creditors Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring that suppliers are paid within 30 days as per the Treasury Regulations. You will also be responsible for performing reconciliations and following up on long outstanding payments.

In addition to your technical skills and experience, you must have strong planning and organizing skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. If you are a motivated and self-disciplined individual who is able to work independently, we would like to hear from you.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Matric (NQF Level 4) and a Certificate (NQF Level 5) in Accounting/ Finance
  • At least 2-3 years of work experience in a financial accounting environment administering electronic payments
  • Knowledge of GRAP, PFMA, and related legislation
  • Sound knowledge of creditors procedures and accounting systems
