Job Overview

We seek an experienced Client Service Officer/Paraplanner to drive business growth in a leading financial advisory practice. This role requires initiative, autonomy and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Streamline client service processes for seamless experiences.

  • Prepare and review compliance-related documents such as Statements of Advice and Records of Advice with precision.

  • Support financial advisors by handling paraplanning tasks efficiently.

  • Maintain accurate client records in CRM systems.

  • Liaise with product providers and clients to follow up on applications and outstanding requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with Australian financial services regulations and company policies.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance processes and foster a positive team culture.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in client services, paraplanning or a similar role in financial planning/wealth management.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning processes and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise confidently with advisers, providers and clients.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software, CRMs and Microsoft Office Suite.
