Junior Data Analyst Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our data analytics function, you will be responsible for transforming operational data into actionable insights that empower both our internal stakeholders and clients.

This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for data analysis, problem-solving, and storytelling. You will work closely with the Analytics Lead and other team members to deliver high-quality data insights that drive business optimization and enable us to deliver more value for our clients.

About the Job:

  • Provide first-line support to internal clients by gathering requirements for data analysis and reporting.
  • Query and investigate databases to answer stakeholders' questions and address data issues.
  • Generate reports and dashboards using BI tools like PowerBI.
  • Support other analysts to enhance data accessibility and clarity.

Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analysis: Transform operational data into actionable insights using SQL coding skills (JOINS, CASE statements, basic window functions).
  2. Reporting: Generate reports and dashboards using PowerBI to communicate complex data tables to stakeholders.
  3. Interpersonal Skills: Provide excellent customer service to internal clients and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  4. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in data and insights-focused roles.
  • Good understanding of data modeling skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
