Accounts Officer Role

This role involves daily finance operations support during ERP platform migration. It provides essential support for invoicing, reconciliations, and payment processes.

The role is a 3-month contract with potential exposure to ERP transition and reconciliation activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central in an accounts role.
  • Strong understanding of core accounting processes including invoicing, credit notes, bank reconciliations, and payments.
  • Intermediate accounting knowledge and ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal), with confidence in phone-based customer and supplier interactions.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliations.
  • Collaborates with a third-party outsourcing partner managing finance functions.
  • Works remotely with daily communication across the finance and sales teams.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central in an accounts role.
  • Understanding of core accounting processes including invoicing, credit notes, bank reconciliations, and payments.
  • Accounting knowledge and ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills for internal team and external customer interactions.
  • Exposure to Xero or other accounting platforms.
  • Experience working within a business undergoing system change or ERP migration.
  • Reports directly to the IT and Finance Systems Manager.
  • Remote work with daily communication across the finance and sales teams.
