Business Finance Specialist Job Overview

This role is crucial in supporting our Sales Team by identifying and qualifying potential SME customers who can benefit from commercial finance solutions. You will be the first point of contact for many of our customers, playing a key part in understanding their business needs and setting them up for success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To identify and qualify high-potential SME leads across various channels
  • To engage prospective customers via calls, emails, and digital platforms to grasp their finance requirements
  • To conduct initial discovery conversations to assess eligibility and suitability for funding products
  • Maintain precise records of customer interactions in CRM systems
  • To collaborate closely with senior Business Finance Specialists to hand off qualified leads
  • To contribute to improving outreach strategies and conversion processes
  • Stay updated on market trends, products, and lending partners
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • 1–3 years of experience in lead generation, inside sales, or B2B sales support
  • Exposure to financial services, fintech, or SME lending is highly valued
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet lead qualification targets
  • A proactive and self-starting attitude, with a focus on delivering value
  • Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce is desirable
