About the Job:

The role of a detailed document editor involves scrutinizing and perfecting documents according to set guidelines and specifications. As a Technical Editor II, one's primary responsibility is to ensure that all documents are error-free, well-structured, and comply with regulatory health standards.

This position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and proficiency in quality control review. The ideal candidate should have experience in editing and publishing tasks, as well as a solid understanding of grammar rules and document formatting techniques.

The job also entails leadership responsibilities, including managing timelines, coordinating with team members, and providing strategic insight to improve performance on document quality-related tasks.

In addition, this role involves mentoring junior staff to become proficient in quality control review, formatting, and publishing tasks.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, scientific discipline, or a related field. A background in pharmaceuticals and/or science and technical industries is highly desirable.

Candidates should also have at least 2 years of prior experience in a similar role, with proven success in a team-based environment. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, are essential for this position.

A certification in editing, such as Editor in the Life Sciences, is desired but not required.
