Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including expenses, accounting software, invoicing, AP/AR, and reconciliations.

You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, performing regular bank reconciliations, and overseeing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Your expertise will also include utilizing accounting tools such as QuickBooks (QBO), Ramp, MS 365, and POS systems.

This is a remote position, and you should be available for client calls during EST working hours. You will collaborate with clients to provide timely updates and financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and manage daily expenses, including daily sales entries
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
  • Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Prepare, send, and follow up on invoices
  • Utilize accounting tools including QuickBooks (QBO), Ramp, MS 365, and POS systems (e.g., Aloha)
  • Collaborate with clients to provide financial insights and timely updates

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (AP-focused is a plus)
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online preferred (experience is helpful but not strictly required)
  • Familiarity with Ramp, MS 365 tools, and POS systems (Aloha preferred) is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and a self-starter
  • Excellent communication skills
