Job Title: Business Continuity Specialist

This role involves supporting the organization in ensuring business continuity management activities are completed accurately and on time. The position requires a strong understanding of business continuity management principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in risk management, business continuity management, incident management, or crisis management. A bachelor's degree in engineering or any 4-year course is required, with a master's degree in disaster risk management being an advantage. Certification in BCI, DRII, or ICOR is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate completion of business continuity management activities, including business impact analysis, threat assessment, business continuity strategy design, plan documentation, and exercises.
  • Develop and implement governance documents, programs, and initiatives related to business continuity management and incident management.
  • Integrate business continuity management into enterprise risk management programs and initiatives.
  • Monitor and report performance and budget for business continuity management and incident management.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience in risk management, business continuity management, incident management, crisis management, internal audit, or other management discipline.
  • Power industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or any 4-year course, with a master's degree in disaster risk management being an advantage.
