Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to thrive in a virtual work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Generate and issue invoices to clients, verifying billing accuracy and resolving any billing-related issues.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records, monitoring and following up on outstanding receivables to facilitate collections.
  • Administer the end-to-end payroll process, including data entry, validation, and distribution of paychecks, staying up-to-date on payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc), with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, with effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working in a virtual or remote environment is a plus, with a willingness to work in US time zones (PST, EST, CST).
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on continuous learning and professional development.
