Job Overview

As a trade lifecycle professional, you will provide comprehensive operational support to the financial services business. Your focus will be on trade instruction releases, settlement processes, and driving improved controls and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support daily business deliverables, including trade instruction releases, trade reopening and settlement from core systems, inventory management, and inter-company reconciliation prior to settlement date.
  • Manage service quality by following established procedures and ensuring tasks are accurate and timely.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to document procedures, implement control enhancements, and participate in global and local projects aimed at process re-engineering and system improvements.
  • Ensure procedures are documented and SOPs are updated regularly; identify requirements for additional controls.
  • Investigate and escalate daily issues (e.g., fails and breaks).
  • Provide daily and weekly statistics and reporting.
  • Participate in global and local projects, including new business initiatives, system enhancements, and market rule changes.
  • Contribute to process re-engineering to enhance efficiency and controls.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in banking and finance, familiarity with products and services.
  • Experience in asset servicing and trade management & settlements.
  • Strong communication, organization, leadership skills.
  • Control and audit mindset with understanding of policies and regulations in the industry.
  • Good relationship-building and time-management skills.
  • Flexibility to work on high-volume days, if required.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and under pressure to meet deadlines and quality goals.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication with key stakeholders.
