Senior Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Financial Performance Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in evaluating and analyzing financial performance and business operations.
The Financial Performance Analyst will be responsible for conducting in-depth financial analysis, including modeling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and ROI assessments. Additionally, the analyst will evaluate and analyze business and financial operations to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for efficiency and growth.
This role requires strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with a background in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and/or health-tech industries. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, and proven ability to perform financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting at a high level.
The successful candidate will also have experience analyzing and improving business processes, with a strong understanding of operational inefficiencies. They will be proficient with BI and data visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, and have advanced skills in Excel, with experience in accounting/finance platforms like QuickBooks, Xero, and SQL-based analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including modeling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and ROI assessments.
- Evaluate and analyze business and financial operations to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for efficiency and growth.
- Develop, monitor, and interpret financial and operational performance metrics, KPIs, and dashboards.
- Partner with leadership to design and implement process improvements that drive financial and operational scalability.
- Support strategic decision-making by assessing the financial impact of business initiatives across Product, Sales, and Operations.
- Research industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices in SaaS and health-tech to inform financial and business recommendations.
- Prepare clear, concise financial reports and presentations that communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial standards, policies, and internal controls.
