Accounting Specialist

Job Overview:

We seek an accounting specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in account reconciliations, financial reporting, procure-to-pay operations, project accounting, and NetSuite software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare and review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
    • Run, customize, and distribute financial reports and operational data from NetSuite, supporting month-end close requirements and management reporting packages.
  • Purchase-to-Pay Operations:
    • Assist with vendor onboarding, invoice coding, and purchase order matching.
    • Review P2P transactions for accuracy and adherence to approval workflows and internal controls.
    • Partner with AP and procurement teams to resolve vendor and payment-related inquiries.
  • Project Accounting:
    • Track project costs, budgets, and billings in alignment with internal reporting requirements.
    • Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to ensure accurate cost allocations and revenue recognition.
  • Process Improvements:
    • Support general ledger entries, accruals, and other month-end close activities.
    • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve reporting efficiency.
