Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description:
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to maintain accurate financial records and handle complex data analysis.
  • We are seeking a highly skilled bookkeeper/accountant who can prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable
  • Managing bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Preparing financial reports for management and stakeholders
  • Assisting in tax return preparation by organizing financial data and preparing documentation for external accountants
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws, filing necessary forms
  • Overseeing accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely billing and collections
  • Monitoring and managing payroll, expense reimbursements, and other financial obligations
  • Providing analysis and insights to management regarding financial performance and areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, preferably in a senior or accountant-level role
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant financial regulations
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation is a plus
  • QBO proadvisor
