Job Description:\

Our organization is seeking a Senior Cloud Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure using AWS services. This role involves collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure efficient data processing, storage, and accessibility.

Responsibilities:\

  • Design scalable data pipelines using AWS services.\
  • Build robust ETL processes to ingest, transform, and store data efficiently.\
  • Manage relational databases to support business needs.\
  • Evaluate data quality through validation, monitoring, and governance best practices.\
  • Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline data processes and workflows.\
  • Ensure data is structured and accessible in reporting tools.\
  • Implement version control, testing, and deployment of data pipelines.\

Required Skills and Qualifications:\

  • Proven experience in data engineering working with cloud-based data platforms.\
  • Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.\
  • Experience with SQL and database management.\
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, S3, Lambda, and RDS.\
  • Understanding of ETL/ELT best practices and experience building data pipelines.\
  • Experience with data visualization and BI tools.\
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools for data infrastructure automation.\
  • Strong focus on data quality, security, and governance.\
