Job Title: Data Architect

Are you a passionate leader seeking a challenging opportunity to drive technical excellence in data architecture and engineering?

Our company is seeking a Lead Data Architect to join our team. As a key member of our technology leadership, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead small to medium-sized technical teams, including work allocation and representation in Agile ceremonies.
  • Design and implement logical and physical data models for cloud and hybrid data warehouse environments.
  • Implement data architectures to support various data formats, including structured and unstructured data.
  • Experience with multiple full life-cycle data warehouse implementations.
  • Understanding of data architectures required for data integration processing.
  • Experience with data modeling technologies such as ER/Studio, ER/Win or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.
  • Data profiling and creation of source to target mappings.
  • Ability to provision and configure Azure data service resources.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in designing and implementing logical and physical data models for cloud and hybrid data warehouse environments.
  • Implementing data architectures to support various data formats, including structured and unstructured data.
  • Experience with multiple full life-cycle data warehouse implementations.
  • Understanding of data architectures required for data integration processing.
  • Experience with data modeling technologies such as ER/Studio, ER/Win or similar.
  • Ability to provision and configure Azure data service resources.
  • Python & SQL Scripting.
  • SQL, PySpark.
  • General Cloud Architecture competency - Capable of building out data pipelines.
  • API knowledge is required; preference for candidates who can create APIs.
