Cloud Security Engineer

This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about cloud security and want to work on complex projects.

As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the implementation and optimization of cloud security solutions across various client environments.

  • Lead the development and maintenance of cloud security architectures that meet the needs of clients.
  • Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures.
  • Design and implement security controls across Azure services including Azure Policy, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Purview, and DLP/AIP.

Key skills required for this role include:

  • Experience in cloud security engineering with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure security tools and services.
  • Familiarity with third-party IAM and security tools.
  • Strong grasp of cloud security frameworks, risk assessment, and incident remediation techniques.

Preferred qualifications include experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates, familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, and exposure to multi-cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration skills. They will also possess a strong understanding of identity and access management in Azure environments and be able to stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements.

It is essential to note that the successful candidate will be required to hold the AZ-500: Azure Security Engineer Associate certification.
