Key Accountant Role

This position is ideal for an individual who can efficiently manage accounts receivable and payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Receivable (AR):
  • Process and record incoming payments from customers.
  • Generate and send invoices to clients in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables to ensure timely collection.
  • Reconcile AR accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare AR aging reports and provide regular updates to management.
  • Accounts Payable (AP):
  • Review and verify invoices from vendors and suppliers.
  • Process and record payments to vendors accurately and on time.
  • Reconcile AP accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare AP aging reports and provide regular updates to management.
  • General Accounting:
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience with QBO and accounting software.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
