Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled financial operations specialist to manage daily accounting tasks and ensure the financial accuracy of specific properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Transactions:
    • Process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately.
    • Perform weekly bank reconciliations and cash reporting.
    • Update financial data in databases to ensure timely and accurate information availability.
  • Monthly / Year End Closings:
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings according to company guidelines.
    • Coordinate annual CAM-Tax-Insurance escalations and prepare tenant packages.
    • Provide vendor backup for monthly sales usage.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Process balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements as per legal and company requirements.
    • Complete quarterly property snapshots and financial statements.
    • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports, including aging reports.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a junior accountant with excellent organizing abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, with familiarity with Yardi a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
