Position Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, verify and organize the information required for the preparation of monthly client reports, management reports and other financial reports.
  • Provide accounting, coordination support and servicing activities to ensure accurate accounting records.
  • Validate and review the funds' Net Asset Values.
  • Analyze financial information to ensure adherence to standards, including ledger management, journal entries, investment and real estate accounting, trial balances, financial statements, account reconciliation, or net asset value computation.
  • Support colleagues in their tasks or with any other issues that could arise.
  • Implement and validate changes to accounting procedures and update documentation to meet operational objectives and standards.
  • Use appropriate judgment in dealing with unexpected issues and requests, demonstrating the ability to prioritize work.
  • Conduct trainings to ensure team's knowledge is aligned and up to date.
  • Participate in monthly/quarterly governance and service calls with business units and internal stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in achieving team/department objectives.
  • Lead or participate in projects to develop and implement new systems and products.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or financial designation is an asset
  • 3-5 years' relevant experience in fund accounting, securities, settlements, foreign exchange transactions, reconciliations, and investment accounting.
  • Hybrid work arrangement: willingness to work onsite and from home as needed, and willing to work on a day shift.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing expectations effectively.
  • Experience with Bloomberg and SimCorp.

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines accurately and thoroughly

  • Keen attention to detail
