Job Summary

The IT Project Manager is responsible for the overall success of IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, within scope and budget. This role involves coordinating between technical teams, stakeholders, and vendors to align projects with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and resource allocation to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders to meet business requirements.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using verification techniques to maintain project stability.
  • Lead cross-functional teams for effective communication and collaboration, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Liaise with business leaders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to maintain alignment and ensure stakeholder expectations are managed.
  • Facilitate meetings and manage stakeholder expectations to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize potential impacts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during project execution, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Implement best practices for IT project management to maximize efficiency and minimize risks.
  • Define and manage project budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and optimize resource allocation.
  • Allocate resources efficiently, balancing project demands and business priorities to achieve optimal results.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements, providing value to stakeholders.
  • Track project performance, providing regular reports on project status, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and implement lessons learned to continuously improve project management processes.
Requirements & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in IT project management or a related field.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and cloud computing.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
