People Data Analyst Job

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented data analyst to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will focus on data preparation, recurring reporting, dashboard upkeep, and quality checks.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-growth environment where processes are evolving, and contribute to building scalable, efficient reporting while learning from and partnering closely with the wider team.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and refresh recurring metrics (e.g., headcount, attrition/retention, tenure, internal moves, compensation) on monthly/quarterly cadences.
  2. Validate and clean datasets from HR systems, run data quality checks, flag anomalies, and document fixes.
  3. Update and QA existing dashboards, ensure filters and definitions work as intended, and make layout/content tweaks as directed.
  4. Pull extracts and run basic analyses (pivots, lookups, simple SQL queries) to support data analysis and investigations.
  5. Maintain data processing notes so logic is traceable and repeatable.
  6. Handle sensitive employee data responsibly, follow access controls, and support compliance with data-privacy requirements.
  7. Identify opportunities for automation and propose improvements that enhance our produced insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in data analytics, HR reporting, or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivots, lookups, nested formulas) a must.
  • Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Looker) is a plus.
  • Experience with HR data, especially from HRIS/ATS/payroll platforms would be beneficial.
  • An analytical and data-driven mindset: viewing large data sets and looking for trends at a deep level.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and follow-through; comfortable managing tasks independently and escalating blockers early.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken.
