Payment Operations Specialist Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Payment Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless payment operations across various payment methods.

You will work closely with internal teams, clients, and external payment partners to guarantee accuracy, efficiency, and reliability in our payment processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payment Method Onboarding: Process payment method applications, conduct initial screening, and submit documentation to payment partners for approval.
  • Client Coordination: Communicate with clients regarding application status, rejections, and reapplications to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Transaction Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation to verify that all transactions are accurately recorded and aligned with reports from payment partners.
  • Issue Resolution & Adhoc Tasks: Support day-to-day payment operations by investigating and resolving issues such as missing payments, failed payouts, and discrepancies.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency within payment operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Prior experience in payment operations, treasury, or financial operations is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to reconcile large sets of data.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with clients and external partners.
  • Proactive problem-solving attitude and ability to manage multiple priorities.
