Key job responsibilities for this position include building and maintaining blockchain networks and protocols. This involves working on improving current infrastructure including security, automation, and monitoring among other things.

  • Create secure and reliable infrastructure to monitor, detect and mitigate performance and security issues
  • Administer Linux servers performing routine, proactive daily management of system health, stability, and availability
  • Develop and maintain procedural and technical documentation
  • Stay up-to-date with peer-to-peer networking security best practices
  • Develop, maintain and communicate threat models + risk assessments for all systems operated

This role also involves contributing to the development of new blockchain protocols, running testnets, building secure and scalable infrastructure and maintaining it.

What we are looking for:
  • You have experience as a DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure engineer
  • Ability to program in one or more languages such as Python, GoLang, Bash or JavaScript
  • Experience managing server infrastructures with high availability requirements
  • Designed secure networks, systems, and application architectures
  • Setup and maintained software in both data centers and cloud environments
  • Deep understanding of sockets, full networking stack, and Linux security
  • Knowledge of building automation and CI/CD processes and tools
  • Experienced with Docker, Kubernetes, and other cloud deployment technologies
  • Flexibility, teamwork, and ability to work well under ambiguous situations
Nice to have:
  • Understanding of the blockchain space and technology
  • Knowledge of cryptography and security best practices
  • Contributions to open source communities
