Job Title: Operations Specialist

As a critical component of our team, the Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in delivering real-time management and optimizing resources to achieve business objectives.

  • Manage volumes and balance workload across sites to ensure optimal staffing levels by continuously analyzing operational metrics.
  • Handle schedule adjustments, approve time-off requests, swap requests, and NPT allocation as needed while promoting seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Communicate workload prioritization for the day and distribution strategy to enhance collaboration among teams.
  • Monitor and report leave allocations to scheduling teams that may trigger changes in staffing plans and schedules, ensuring adaptability.
  • Create accurate and timely reports reflecting Service Level performance through data-driven insights.
  • Identify best practices and optimize the use of department technology to improve efficiency by streamlining processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage long-term and short-term forecasts across multiple PDS teams using historical data and workforce management tools to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Drive the forecast process by engaging internal teams to identify variances and provide actionable recommendations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Produce detailed reports and trend analyses based on insights from each unit, enabling data-informed decisions.
  • Ensure effective staffing and scheduling; utilize diagnostics to create performance reports and drive ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce turnaround time through process analysis and optimization.
