This role focuses on delivering tactical and strategic leadership to a Business Development team. The successful candidate will drive the expansion of the team while developing talent to meet aggressive growth goals.
">Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategies to exceed new business pipeline generation targets for Enterprise Account Executives.
- Expand the Business Development Rep team using a proven plan.
- Provide coaching and development support to Business Development Reps to ensure consistent goal attainment.
- Support the BDR team with lead follow up and proactive outreach leveraging a deep understanding of technology.
- Conduct weekly 1:1 review meetings and daily team 'huddles' to share best practices.
- Coach direct reports on strategies to increase conversion rates across the board.
- Build strong working relationships with Marketing, Sales Operations, Recruitment and HR teams.
- Maintain alignment with the Field Sales team through regular attendance at sales meetings.
- Consistently monitor performance against key KPIs and drive the team forward to exceed expectations.
- Be vocal in bringing suggestions to facilitate new processes, tools, communications, training and methodologies.
- Occasional travel and ability to represent the company at events.
- Strong understanding of Business Development principles.
- Expertise in coaching and leading business development teams.
- Accurate reporting and presentation skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple high priority tasks to successful completion.
- Geographically dispersed organization experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of information security concepts.
- Regularly provide metrics on key activity.
- Virtual cross-functional team collaboration.
- Talent development and progression.
- Interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Degree level or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years' experience running Business Development or Inside Sales teams.
- 2+ years' experience as a BDR Rep in software industry.
- Software applications expertise (SFDC, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
