Project Manager Role

Our company is seeking a skilled Project Manager to execute and monitor project schedules ensuring successful project delivery in line with project, client and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish comprehensive project schedules including resourcing, logic sequence and duration of each phase, encompassing project development, planning approvals, land acquisition, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, transport, construction and commissioning.
  • Conduct regular reviews of the project master schedule baseline, providing a platform for the project team to report and review project progress. Contractual progress performance will be tracked and reported against the project master schedule baseline.
  • Read and interpret typical design deliverables such as flow sheets, P&ID's drawings, equipment lists and other required data to prepare and maintain a project schedule.
  • Update and provide coordination of various detailed sub-schedules from other contractors and consultants at regular intervals.
  • Evaluate project progress to ensure it meets budgetary and deadline objectives, recognizing progress concerns and reporting immediately to the project managers to guarantee projects are completed within both budgetary and schedule constraints.
  • Forecast and assess trends for accurate schedule maintenance, providing information that assists with project management goals.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent qualification is desired.
  • 3+ years' postgraduate experience in a similar position.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment.
  • Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.
