About the job Finance Head

A dynamic and fast-growing reinsurance brokerage startup is seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Finance Head to lead its financial operations and compliance functions.

This is a critical leadership role that functions as a working CFO, reporting directly to the founders.

Location: BGC, Taguig

Work Setup: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the companys financial strategy, reporting, and forecasting
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with all tax, insurance, and statutory requirements
  • Handle all aspects of financial controls, budgeting, and risk management
  • Lead the setup and streamlining of finance processes, systems, and controls
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and insurance regulators
  • Work closely with executive leadership to support fundraising, investor reporting, and growth initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Head, CFO, or Controller in the insurance or reinsurance industry a must
  • Strong background in compliance, financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory submissions
  • Excellent knowledge of Philippine insurance regulations, BIR compliance, and corporate finance
  • Comfortable working in a startup or high-growth environment
