The role of Medical Support Specialist is a dynamic and challenging position that requires effective communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Provide exceptional patient service through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
- Manage multiple priorities, handle high call volumes, and respond to inquiries with empathy and accuracy.
- Efficiently book appointments, coordinate practitioner schedules, and ensure timely responses to patients.
- Monitor communication channels, prioritize urgent queries, and maintain accurate patient information.
- Bachelor's degree in Administration or a health-related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in administration, customer service, or remote reception roles—ideally in a medical setting—is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional tone, are required.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities, along with a calm approach, are necessary for success.
- Proficiency in patient management software and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required.
- Understanding of patient privacy and confidentiality protocols is crucial.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team is essential.
- Familiarity with telephony tools and patient management systems is highly advantageous.
- Work from home, day shift, Monday to Friday 7:00AM – 4:00PM PHT.
