Job Overview

The Facilities Engineer oversees and manages administrative tasks related to the relocation of personnel and equipment within an organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a comprehensive Annual Preventive Maintenance Plan for critical utilities including HVAC Systems, Compressed Air Systems, Chilled Water and Cooling Tower Systems, and Water Treatment Systems.
  • Develop a list of CAPEX and OPEX projects required for the upcoming year to ensure smooth operation of facilities mechanical equipment.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to mechanical systems such as Water Cooled Aircon, Air Cooled and Split Type Aircon, Fire Pump Controls, HVAC PLC and Controls, Exhaust Fans and Control, Pumps and its control system, and Fire Pump System.
  • Supervise and mentor mechanical technicians to ensure safe and sustainable running conditions of equipment.
  • Conduct daily inspection check sheets to identify trends in equipment problems or needs for immediate maintenance and escalate to Facility Manager for prompt action.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements from PEZA, BFP, DOLE, DENR, LLDA, and other relevant agencies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer (RME) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Facilities Department under Mechanical Group in a Manufacturing Set-up.
  • Experience in Plating, Moulding, Stamping, and Assembly production lines is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Knowledgeable in processing permits from PEZA, DOLE, DENR, LLDA, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Pro-active with strong leadership skills.
Job Requirements:
  • Provide timely support services for other departments regarding facilities.
  • Maintain log of incidents, accidents, and security and safety issues for reporting purposes.
  • Perform maintenance, repair, and improvement of physical systems and equipment.
  • Monitor various facility systems and perform routine tests on all equipment.
