Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Facilities Team conducts facilities and property administration, office planning, corporate leasing and/or real estate coordination. They work closely and provide advice and counsel to company and/or vendor representatives coordinating major facility constructions or modifications or leasing and real estate activities.

What your background should look like:

Graduate of any 4 year or vocational course for TESDA or reputable Technical Schools. Minimum of 5 years experience as a Mechanical System Installer, such as Aircon, Plumbing, Ducting, Piping Works, Metal Fabrication, Welding Works, etc. Valid TESDA NCII Certificate required. Strong background in construction works as a Mechanical Installer and ability to read plans and drawings. Familiarity with Facilities Equipment Maintenance tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assigned as Utility Connection Installer for production equipment, specifically Compressed Air Piping, Exhaust Duct, Air Duct, Aircon System Installation, Water Lines, etc.
  • Backup personnel for Facility Operation and Maintenance; knowledge and familiarity in this subject is required.
  • Assist and supervise contractor/third party activity.
  • High knowledge of Safety Risk Assessment and Control prior to and after work.
  • Implement minor repair works related to Facility Equipment and Building Maintenance.
  • Implement small improvement projects of the plant to enhance mechanical systems.
  • Monitor and check Facility Equipment Conditions on a regular basis.
  • Knowledge and ability to perform Electrical Wiring Works based on standards.

Others:

  • Engage and participate in the plant's cost reduction program, Safety, Quality, and support Operations in all its capacity as Mechanical Installer Technician.
