Facilities Operations Specialist

The Facilities Operations Specialist is a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This position oversees the administration of physical moves, guaranteeing seamless transitions within our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance Planning: Develop an Annual Preventive Maintenance Plan for critical utilities including Plant Electrical Systems, RMUs, Transformers, High Voltage and Low Voltage Switchgears, Main Distribution Panels, Grounding Systems, and Power Supplies required by Mechanical Utilities.
- Capital Expenditure and Operational Expenditure Projects: Prepare lists of needed projects for the coming year, as required by facilities electrical equipment.
- Troubleshooting: Utilize expertise in troubleshooting facilities equipment related to electrical systems, such as RMUs, Transformers, HV/LV Switchgears, Main Distribution Panels, Grounding Systems, and Power Supplies for various production machines, including the supply of Mechanical Equipment.
- Supervision: Supervise, guide, and coach electrical technicians to ensure safe and sustainable running conditions of production.
- Daily Inspection: Analyze daily inspection check sheets for possible trends on equipment problems or needs for immediate maintenance and raise them to the Facility Manager's attention.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements from relevant agencies.
- Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE) with 5 years minimum experience in Facilities Department under Electrical Group in a Manufacturing Set-up.
- Experience in Plating, Moulding, Stamping, and Assembly production lines is advantageous but not necessary.
- Knowledgeable in processing permits from relevant regulatory agencies.
- Pro-active with good leadership skills.
- Provide timely support services for other departments' needs regarding facilities.
- Maintain logs of incidents, accidents, and other security and safety issues for reporting purposes.
- Perform maintenance, repair, and improvement of physical systems and equipment.
- Monitor various facility systems and perform routine tests on all equipment.
