Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and driving business in the Asia region. This includes regular communication with C-suite executives, establishing a trustworthy and knowledgeable presence capable of influencing decision making at management level.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and cultivating sales opportunities to cross-sell and upsell; managing pipeline, revenue forecasts and sales activities to ensure data accuracy.
  • Serving as a link between the client and internal development teams during the product integration phase.
  • Working closely with marketing and product teams on presentations, product demos and on-site customer visits; devising new approaches to problems and working with relevant internal teams to enhance capabilities and market reach.

The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal skills in English and at least one other prominent Asian language, such as Mandarin, and display executive presence and confidence in customer and stakeholder management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires a comprehensive understanding of data and API products and specific experience in dealing with both B2B and B2C companies.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in dealing with complex organisations.
  • Relationship management skills, including building and maintaining relationships with senior executives.
  • Creative and upstream thinking, with the ability to anticipate situations and find solutions before they emerge.
