Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Virtual Pharmacist Assistant to support our healthcare operations remotely.

This role involves assisting the pharmacist and healthcare team with administrative tasks such as managing medication records, coordinating patient communications, and ensuring compliance with healthcare protocols.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of healthcare office operations related to medication management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Communication:
      • Confirm prescription receipt and fulfillment with pharmacies.
      • Relay updates to patients, prescribers, and pharmaceutical manufacturers.
    • Documentation:
        • Accurately record all interactions and updates in our pharmacy operating system.
          • Maintain complete and detailed records of transfer and follow-up activities.
      • Data Entry Tasks:
          • Link compounded medications to specific prescription numbers.
          • Enter and manage prescription data across multiple systems and tools.
        Requirements and Qualifications
        • Licensed and registered pharmacist (active license required).
        • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a pharmacy or related healthcare setting.
        • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
        • High attention to detail, especially in documentation and data accuracy.
        • Proficient with software programs and comfortable navigating multiple systems.
        Hardware and Software Requirements
        • AMD Ryzen 3 3200G APU or Intel Core i5 (at least 7th gen) Intel CPU.
        • 16GB DDR4 RAM.
        • 120 – 480 GB SSD.
        • Microsoft Office Suite.
