Job Title: Virtual Pharmacist Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and organized Virtual Pharmacist Assistant to support our healthcare operations remotely. In this role, you will assist the pharmacist and healthcare team with administrative tasks such as managing medication records, coordinating patient communications, assisting with prescription processing, and ensuring compliance with healthcare protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prescription Transfer Follow-Up
    • Contact pharmacies to confirm receipt of transferred prescriptions and verify fulfillment.
  • Patient Communication
    • Call patients to confirm they received their transferred prescriptions.
    • Provide professional, compassionate support and address any concerns.
  • Documentation
    • Accurately record all interactions and updates in our pharmacy operating system.
    • Maintain complete and detailed records of transfer and follow-up activities.
  • Data Entry Tasks
    • Link compounded medications to specific prescription numbers.
    • Enter and manage prescription data across multiple systems and tools.
Qualifications:
  • Licensed and registered pharmacist (active license required).
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a pharmacy or related healthcare setting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Virtual Assistant, preferably in a healthcare or pharmacy-related role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, especially in documentation and data accuracy.
  • Proficient with software programs and comfortable navigating multiple systems.
  • Able to work independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Experience in specialty pharmacy is a plus.
